Topics I Address

Both my professional and educational experiences have allowed me to develop my skills in a wide array of counseling topics. I have  the greatest interest in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, behavioral issues, school problems, & self-esteem issues.  I recognize that whatever the client may be facing, it is vital to develop a strong sense of rapport and that the client feels safe and supported. I look forward to partnering with you to help find solutions to the challenges faced.

My Thoughts on the Therapeutic Process

I believe that therapy is rooted in a quality therapeutic alliance where respect, support, and acceptance are at the forefront of every conversation and interaction. I take a strengths-based approach while working with clients and meet each person where they are at. I believe that ensuring clients feel safe, seen, and heard will allow  for a productive and healthy working relationship. Therapy is a collaborative process and we will work together to process experiences, promote change, all while developing your strengths.

My Professional Experience

Throughout my time in the field, I have worked with children, adolescents, and families from very diverse backgrounds. I have engaged with clients who were experiencing mental and behavioral health concerns while working with them in the home, school, and community settings. My goal with each client is to take an individualized approach and allow for space to develop a strong relationship where the client feels empowered, which is the most rewarding part of my work.
