My Thoughts on the Therapeutic Process

I commend you for making the decision to come to therapy and I offer a supportive and compassionate approach designed to help you feel comfortable in this process. Through the counseling relationship my goal is to help you gain greater self awareness and then from the awareness, build to help you be your best self. This process happens as you achieve incremental goals that allow you to gain a better sense of self as you engage in the therapeutic process. My approach is collaborative and together we will work to align your thoughts and feelings toward congruency with your behaviors. I provide guidance and support with insight and direct feedback using evidence based approaches that result in mindful solutions.

My Professional Experience

I have experience working in schools, homes, specialty camps, and within the community. As a Licensed Behavior Consultant, I have experience working with Individual Education Plans (IEPs), which support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and behavior challenges in the school setting. I have extensive experience working with children and adults needing social skill support, as well as, children with Selective Mutism.
