My Thoughts about the Therapeutic Process
I believe that the therapeutic process should honor what makes people human; their uniqueness as well as what leaves them feeling “stuck,” anxious, lost, sad, overwhelmed, fearful, or alone. They best way to achieve personal insight as well as a deeper connection to yourself is to integrate the mind, body, and soul. Once you’ve truly opened yourself up to compassionate support and reflection, you will see an improvement in symptoms and total wellness.
My Professional Experience
I’ve worked in a variety of therapeutic settings and communities and have gained experience with a variety of mental health issues, life problems, and relationship issues. As a result, my style ranges from being very interactive and goal-oriented to providing uninterrupted space for exploration, processing, and reflection. I like to create a collaborative environment for each client, where our sessions are a place of refuge and solace where exploring what has been causing pain transpires with support.
